
I used to think I was being taken advantage of, and that I could not prevent it. There was enough history to suMy first visit to Skinner’s Park for Carnival Fiesta after many years was memorable. I got there early so as not to miss anything.
The show opened strong with high energy and full presence. Then the pace slowed enough to hear the words clearly.
This is when Baron’s message came through:
“If you don’t find yourself,
you cannot be someone else…”
It stayed with me.
Because the same pattern shows up elsewhere.
By the time Dimanche Gras came around, the difference was clear.
Some stood their ground. They were clear in meaning and consistent in delivery.
Others didn’t. They stated a position, then adjusted it when challenged.
And this is not limited to a stage.
We are seeing the same pattern in real situations—
positions announced,
then adjusted,
once pressure comes.
The position was never fully owned. Which is why it changed under pressure.
If a position is not clearly chosen, it will change as soon as it is tested.
When a position keeps changing, do not debate what is being said. Watch what happens when it is truly challenged. That will tell you what has actually been decided.
