ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE JOHN MAXWELL LEADERSHIP GAME
I am happy to offer you the opportunity to partake in this new, fun, yet developmental leadership
intervention. The Leadership Game is a novel team building and diagnostic tool that helps
you to identify the leadership qualities and status of your team members. This game is a comprehensive resource
based on the teachings of leadership expert, John C. Maxwell that will help and guide you and your team
to become the best leaders you can be! It is like no other leadership intervention you have experienced before. With this innovative and valuable tool you will be able to raise the leadership awareness of the key personnel in your
organization as the timeless leadership principles that will bring about positive change through
communication and connection are introduced. This will lead to a more inspired team, willing to make
more conscious decisions and develop strategies to improve the leadership culture of your business or
organization.
Playing the Game
The game is best played with your key leaders. The price is extremely competitive for a team building intervention of up to three (3) hours depending on the intensity of the interactions. Setting aside a half day for the Leadership Game would be ideal.
The game comprises sets of colored cards each with different leadership topics, questions or activities which players must select by rolling a dice. They cover issues relating to four main areas of leadership
impact as follows:
- Leaders
- Followers
- Personal Leadership
- Organization
The cards contain instructions for activities including debates, discussion in pairs, developing ideas on
sticky notes and group discussions. There will be times during the game where the leaders give
examples from their own experience, pair up to come up with an answer, debate a particular topic or
discuss in the group as a whole.
Each player also gets a set of four cards that they will use during the game to award points or to advance the game as they see fit.
Players earn points from impressing other players with their leadership skills.
